@chitlitlah No, in Germany you are allowed to have up to 0.5 permille alcohol in your blood. But, if you are involved in an accident and cops think alcohol might be one of the reasons for it you could get fined also when you have 0.1 to 0.5 permille. You are allowed to drink as a driver as long as you stay below 0.5 and cause no accident. But I've never seen anyone drinking as the driver my whole life long in Germany.
