  2. The moment Mentour said that they were angry at ATC for not letting them land and wanted them to give better weather I said, thats not pilots way to handle things. I mean, as pilot you are only working for your company, you do the flights for the company, not because they personally wanted to go to Sochi, so why bother about it? Not overloading was the reason, those pilots weren't suitable to do their job.

  10.  @aesaphyr  You don't. You prepare nearly everything before the flight. Even the flight to alternates, even go arounds in every detail.

  11.  @aesaphyr  Yes true, but thats why there are two pilots, one can fly the plane and the other does other stuff. And this is trained in the simulator, every one has its tasks.

  13. That was my thought too. For what reason those artificial horizons are there? Especially if I can't see the real horizon I trust them. I stick to them carefully.

  14. In my opinion those two pilots weren't highly skilled. In contrary, they were not even suitable to fly any plane, not at all, they have just the wrong attitude and lacking skills.
