14:00 but war never changes. By the way the claims of lay people in the subject can easiliy be identified by their common structure of short and absolute statements such as: X is stupid. And do not deserve such a researched response. However i am glad you did it anyway for the betters among the audiance.

"Fuel is like dark humor" I LOVE THIS CHANNEL

russia falls and the only thing about ww2 would be a very long war. not 1945 but perhaps late 40s or even early 50s, germany may plead before than but under hitler i dont think so. Also about nuclear weapons nuclear technolgoy came from germany, it was german scientists who achived first fission, later on the news einstein lettered the president of USA to rapid weaponization of this new field of science. They began to weaponize things they do not even understand. Nuclear understanding was very poor at tthe time of manhatten project. İf the axis hadnt diverted scientific resources and research away from nuclear power in favor of more fficient V-series rockets, perhaps early or last minute axis victory in the race for the A-bomb could pottentialy force favoreable plead in peace talks. But this is at best better conditions in cease fire and mere stalemate at worst. Complete and utter axis victory like the allies had is NOT possible. Favoreable peace conditions enforced on the allies, was. Even if the allied victory was inevitable public opinion after axis nuclear force would shift dramaticly. Lets be honest no one in the allies wanted their goverment in war anyway not after the pain of WW1 was still fresh.

"Choking to death or dying in an explosion can be considered even more detrimental to the commander's vision" Excelent analyses.
24
"60s, 70s, 80s and 90s." yeah i wasnt arround then. except the 90s
20
BTW Marco polo bridge incident. A soldier went AWOL or Japan knowingly created border conflicts?
20
its so crazy it workss.

This comment is more informative and more non biased than the video. Thanks.

"at that point" thats the key and time wasnt in favor of japanese so waiting the US wasnt an option. Every year you spend trying to prepare againts the US they just double the fleet size.
17
I dont need to watch the video for this answer. Because you would lose production efficiency by switching factories.... Also fighters have more agility than jets.. *its hoi 4, for those who dont know
16
Justin is your best guest. Keep him on, use him for views.
15
Can you please further explain in another video or just a comment: "in summer 1944 the US fleet defence got too effective and devastated such concentrated groups" How? Did they upgraded ship based AA weapon and ammo? Their carrier based fighter models got better? Or test and exprience in combat allowed the us navy to optimize conventional defences more effectively? Such as AA, Radar intel, Fighter escorts, interception deployment

i am increasingly less surprised to see Ö s instead of O s but more and more surprised that i see O s at all. Why dont we turn this joke into a long lasting tradition? Military History Visualized PLEASE BAN THE LETTER O

i see some uneducated opinions. Alexander Kerensky German russian was was inevitable, Russia was preparing for war but just not as early as 1941 and definitly not while the command shortage from the purge was still going. Germany and russia had fundemental different idealogies and interests in the eastern europe and the baltics. War was going to happen. It just so happens that it was germany that attacked. Dont talk tme about breaking a treaty its politics, only stupid people argue right and wrong. It could might as well be at a much later that it would be russia that attacked and broke the pact. Tomáš Bouzek There is no way Luftwaffe could defeat RAF in some bombing campaign in good weather conditions. RAF was one of the best, one of the most numerious and britain out produced planes and pilot training compared to the germans by a margin much too large to be covered or nullified by some quick campaign sucsessions.
13
i am not sure about this video and the historian, the comtemprory american generals and admirals seem to agree that japanese surrender was only kept out by "unconditiional surrender" demand. Mcarthur was quoted that japan would have surrendered in may if america told them that they could keep the emperor, other generals, eisenhover, lemay and chester all seem to agree that japan was ready to surrender.
13
i am able to find and quote also japanese general kawabe stating that hiroshima was not as big of a shock and instead soviet entry into the war was taken as a great shock. "we had a vivid imagination that the vast red armies in europe were now being turned againts us" japanese prime ministe Suzuk r: Japan must surrender immidiately or soviet union will not only take manchuria korea, krafuto but also hokkaido, this would destroy the foundation of japan, we must end the war when we can deal with the US.

what is the punishment for the crime of mis pronunciation? GULAG

Good stories thanks for sharing.

The Mad Hammer you are correct. From what i remember quite a loit of people from british parliment and the house of commons actualy were demorilized after the fall of france and wanted to enter peace talks with germany. They were going to but churchill and his rallying call forced them to keep quiet as he swayed public sport for war effort. İf there was an absolute defeat and allied forces at dunkirk were terminated alltogether or fell as prisoners of war for germans, this could have meant a very early german victory in the west. And Nations like australlia canada, raj and the USA had no intention of helping the soviet union anyway so perhaps after western front fell an axis coalition of romania bulgaria italy finland and germany could have crushed the soviets in a swift push.

Patton was a useless twat made famous by after-war media. He had no sucsess solely relying on his strategic genius. On the other hand, all allied generals are. Defeating the germans at glorious battles of africa and omaha beach? yeah you outhnumber than 2-3 to 1, have equipment 5 times more and better quality. It would be a miracle to lose.

@podemosurss8316 "as they mostly dominated those waters" it must feel like an achievement to dominate waters where you have no rivaling navy...
8
there was a reason why this channel was called military history for adults. (the alternative) Binkov is military for kids.
8
no one seriously wanting to learn military history watches binkov.
6
Great way of thinking you got there. More people need to understand that heroes dont come from winners only.
6
You are underwhelming the combined value greatly. No single clue ever gives a reliable information but together they lead to our killer.
5
French sees germans behind their lines. French surrenders what?
5
This is pointless, each of you had different understanding for the word determination and you try to argue yours is the correct one. Sentimental factors like american determination can safely be ignored when trying to bring an objective analyses in any miltiary scenario. Something the narrator failed big time. Something you guys repeated.
5
"in their haste to predict the setting of the Sun, the Americans failed to appreciate the danger of it's rise" Powerful ending.
4
hoi 4 is the last one with some DLCs, did you mean hoi 3 or something?
4
I loved that wolf in sheep image. Also you missed an important opportunity to use your classic pony instead of a horse while talking about evacuated horses.
4
why is this a thing? why is this a question? It is an obvious fact to anyone who bothered to look that the bombs had NOTHING TO DO WITH THE END OF THE WAR
4
no one provides any source or evidence, so all of you who think their opinion is worth their time typing and worth others time reading, go fuck yourselves, proving once again that military history is a topic way beyond the knowledge of general public. You guys are as productive as the same public discussing physics or biology.
3
Well FDR gave a promise " no american boy would fight in a foreign war" in his campaign. If he was going to fight he had to come up with an excuse to sway public support or doom the presidency and the party.. Destroyer for bases agreement and the order to extend us navy escort on cargo ships to and from britain in atlantic decicions were made trough a reluctant and resistant congress so FDR was good at those things. Im sure if it wasnt for the pearl harbor he would have come up with something new and joined the war anyway.
3
6:00 evidence that history is rewritten over and over again as the interest of victors change.
3
its pretty simple. Do you really think hoi 4 is some in depth masterpiece?
3
The question that the soviets were planning / preparing for a western war is not limited to "preemptive war" thesis. nor the question can be settled with a mere look at logistics of the red army. For a full answer, complete public access to Russian archives is necessary, something that wont come to pass soon.
3
@AlexanderSeven what you said is completely irrelevant.
3
if your terminology reflects the accurate way you think than you really do not understand the necessary background philosophy to be here. There are no good guys bad guys. They didnt win because they were good guys. They were good guys because they won.
3
Zhang, i believe you are too stupid to understand the context, and the information within. Thus too stupid to communicate with.
3
Long writing that can be summarised as intentionaly dumb. All these factors combined answer the issue. You got them seperate and replied accordingly. Which was dumb.
2
There are poor soldiers. Blaming officers for incapable subordinates is a poor judgement as well.
