  2. Dath123 or back off and make room for better devolopers in the compettion. Im certain people like digital homicide "did their best with what they got" That doesnt excuse. We as a customer, do not care for the recources of the producers, we care for the results. It is the producers job to use the recources they are given from third party (publishers) or recources from their own budget to make a "good" game in comparison to modern standarts.

  3. Dath123 that would be valid in some other fields but in this argument it isnt valid, not even close. I mean come on. a 2d retro game.. "new idea"? Hell you, you cant argue with this, its a fact, we  milked retro games for 20 years becouse technology wasnt enough to make any better. Now it is,and keep making retro games out of no where without any interesting idea or entertaining concept behind it wont do. Which is the case with FTL in my opinion. i was set off by its retro concept and was introduced to the game long after it was released, But it was damn bloody fun as a game should be. Becouse it has an interesting gameplay mechanic and a challanging play and rewards in multiple playtroughs.

FTL s sucsess doesnt come from its art style, ot necessarely not by a long shot. You could make it with unreal 4 and still have the same or even better sucsess with it. Graphics sells, gameplay approves. Please get informed on video game industry.. Also "right wing extremist"... uh.. i dont even know where to begin where that goes wrong, but i can safely wrap it up as a subconciouss expresion of " i am an idiot".
