  1. scot my question is why do you set an encounter where you end up ahead of mun and move in the opposite direction as the mün? the opposite approach actauly speeds you up and throws you away, should you get an encounter behind the mun, you would move WITH the mun and not get an extra kick, allowing easier slow down, probably fuel efficent in KSP
