In these troubled times, the quote of Oscar Wilde (1854-1900) is still accurate: 'America [US] is the only country that went from barbarism to decadence without civilization in between'. However, with all the wars (proxy wars), death and destruction that US spreaded around the globe during its two centuries and almost a half of existence, We stated: US, unfortunately, never stopped being barbarians.
