  1. Jeff, please promote it. I was equally perplexed when there were about 500 subscribers and I promoted every day for 3 weeks or so and the number of subscribers doubled. The places online where I promoted got tired of me beating the daily drum, so I stopped.

  4. Vanessa, Please take this with as many grains of salt as you wish. It's only Monday and you already have1,073 views.You posted on Friday. Look at The Foxes, they consistently post exactly the same time each Friday at 4:00 PM. They must have figured out how to post at 4:00 in every different time zone around the world. So, until you top the Foxes I believe that you should follow their model and you may just pick up more viewers. That and You and Zypher's face on every front page. Additionally you could banner the commercial free aspect of your vlog, because some boat tubers are very heavy on ads. Just some thoughts.

  5.  @themindfulnarrowboat  Well, Vanessa, I must admit that I do not know or understand the inner workings of YouTube as a vlogger. But, as a watcher I know that we (my wife and me) watch as many new vlogs on Friday when the Foxes post. And you did get a lot of views most recently. Perhaps YouTube does not promote you because you are commercial free. That is a selling point from my view. We need to find more ways to promote your excellent work. It's just at such a higher level than most boat tube vlogs.
