This is little more than an unnecessary publicity exercise,prior to Christmas,To try and justify it on the grounds “of work” puts it on the same level as Cummins.The whole point of COVID restrictions is to limit contact......this does the exact opposite ! Defending it,comes from those who believe in class and privilege....hence the cost(public) and the half hour of ‘work’. Ministers from both Scotland and Wales have not been enthusiastic.......Nick is doing his usual,indignant,outrage....thereby diverting attention.......it’s called “throwing a dead cat”,a tactic much used by the likes of Johnson and Farage.
