The stupidity (and lies ) of Brexit. Meanwhile we (the taxpayer )are going to have to subsidise the landed gentry for cutting their hedges.

Farming Today programme 19/4/21 We export potatoes because we grow so many.It now costs a Camb.farmer £585 to export his crop.It costs £160 to import them from the EU.As he said,why grow and store potatoes when it’s cheaper to import them ? So much for all the signs “Support British Farming”, Though taxpayers will still have to subsidise him.........to cut his hedges !
