  1. You cruel man, think of their children’s ponies,their horses,used for Fox-hunting ! Totally agree, methinks it’s their proximity to sheep,that makes farmers bleat so much. NFU figures: 50 -70% of farmers income….comes from subsidies (our taxes) !

  2. Many farms ARENT growing food ! Round here convoys of tractors with huge trailers are taking maize and manure to anaerobic digesters…..to make methane…..to burn……to make electricity……to run their veg.factory + 200 caravans (immigrant workers).Enjoy your energy increases…….they are getting it for free…..AND,we are still having to subsidise the landed gentry !!! Wake up mugs !

  3. Farming Today (bbc Sounds 12/1/22 ) Due to the high price of British beef,British supermarkets no longer promise to sell only British beef……they are importing it from Ireland ! The stupidity (and lies ) of Brexit. Meanwhile we (the taxpayer )are going to have to subsidise the landed gentry for cutting their hedges.
