We still have to subsidise the landed gentry with our taxes to the tune of £3.4bn and shortly we will subsidise them for cutting hedges and putting manure on their fields.Meanwhile,they are diversifying(making more money) by making electricity,opening farm shops,campsites,B andB’s....the list goes on. Apparently, we can’t have land based wind turbines producing something we all need and importing beef from Australia will be hailed as a Brexit benefit. Why do they want to grow cannabis......MONEY !
