Denmark produced 50%+ of its electricity,in 2020,from turbines and solar.All political parties have agreed to spend £25billion on an off-shore island that will supply both itself,but Belgium,Netherlands and Germany with more.Denmark retains a 51% interest and income,49% to private investors. Heard anything as sensible from the Tory Govt. ? They stopped on-shore turbines and when I pay my electric bill,all the profits go to Australian and Canadian Insurance Companies. Privatising all our utilities ( and losing all the profits ) is the same madness as Brexit.
