Once lost, a 5yo could have suggested the most obvious conclusion.The public were fed red herrings 1)They are floating on the surface…..send spotter planes. 2) We hear banging….but can’t identify where or what. 3) “A race against time….air !” This wasn’t a well built,tested craft….many more than Cameron would have known the outcome.
