  1. Scotland has just nationalised its railways and in England,the Govt has had to take both the LNER and Northern franchises back under its control for some time. Selling off our national assets to private companies hasn’t resulted in “bigger,better,cheaper”, as we are seeing.It also results in a loss of income…..making tax rises inevitable,as the Govt. only source of revenue……as we are seeing !!!
