  6. The US women's soccer team is better than the men's but only because men have traditionally played other sports, so they have got the funding. This is why I have lost interest in most sports. Players earn more in a year than most people do in a lifetime & yet they whine constantly that they are not paid enough & deserve more. Don't get me started on all the sponsorship/advertising deals where some have made bank just because of their looks. All the women in Sports Illustrated aren't fighting for men to get equal pay with them.

  7. If a man and a woman work as a nurse at the same grade & with the same qualifications they are paid the the same. There is a law for equal pay. However if a woman is a nurse and the man is a surgeon there will be a pay gap. That is not discrimination. Historically women work lower paid jobs and part time that is why they earn less. In general women have less savings because they spend on makeup, clothes, shoes etc. For example in an office a man with wear the same suit for a week just changing his shirt and maybe the tie daily. a lot of women want to wear a different outfit everyday and where a man might have 3 suits the woman will have 6 or more so that she only wears the same clothes 2 or 3 times a month. If a woman takes time off to have a child she can't expect to return to the same position after 9 months or a year and be able to apply for a promotion and be view the same as a man who worked all the time she was off work.

  10. I remember a story from my late teens: my mother had a female, married, friend who doted on her only child ( a son older than me). She had decided that she would only have sex with her husband once a year at Christmas time, whether he was happy with the arrangement I don't know or why he tolerated it. ( note this was before grape in marriage became a crime)

  14. It is common & irresponsible for people to throw around that they are "bipolar" when they have never been diagnosed as such. Just a fashionable word to use to explain bad behaviour. Whoever you are, if you have had childhood trauma then you need therapy to come to terms with it. Going through multiple relationships won't "fix" you but will damage the other person.

A 2nd marriage is "the triumph of hope over experience" Brittany Spears latest marriage has fallen apart. 100 years ago for a marriage to get to 25 years (Silver wedding anniversary) was unusual as the likelihood of 1 of them dying through childbirth, accident or disease was high thus it was easy to say "Until death do us part". There is already a single's tax for: holidays, hotel stays, can't buy the 2 for 1 deals or family discount, local tax only gives 25% discount for a single person. As the old saying goes "2 can live a cheaply as 1". All the utility bills are the same whether 1 or 2 people live in the property.

  20. Not been on a date in 15 years. Gave up do to making bad choices picking selfish women that took but didn't want to give ( maybe if they were in the right mood). I got stuck in a job with below average income, so "wining & dining" a different woman or even the same one regularly was beyond my budget. As the song said money can't buy me love & rarely affection long term. Since my teenage years I have seen women chase & stay with "bad boys" but never give me a 2nd chance if I make a mistake.

  28. This is not a new problem for Japan, it has been happening for over 25 years. Men work long hours & it is expected indeed is normal to do a 60 hour week. When you can put on a death certificated "worked to death" as an official reason something is wrong. Women have chosen education & career over having a family in part due to cost of living but also fathers do not want to play a part in childcare especially in the early years. It has been long know in the West that give a woman access to work/money, contraception i.e.t they are not dependent on men, then birth rates fall & so does early marriage.
