Kick inside, Lionheart, Hounds of Love, Never for Ever, The Dreaming & The Sensual World to really appreciated the development of her talent & increasing production techniques, sound effects & different musical influences. Don't overlook the videos.

  3. Back in the day I was going on holiday to Wales with schoolfriends. We had driven overnight. As we crested a wooded hill we could see across the valley with a thick layer of mist rising above the river to the ridge beyond. The Sun was just starting to peek out into the sky & "here comes the sun" began on the cassette player - perfect timing.

  5. I stopped listening to music when it became about "Brands": fashion lines, perfume, jewellery etc. I'm going back to the 20th Century & beyond. This tune popped into my head a few days ago, Dinah Washington what a difference a day makes

  6. I'd rather be deaf than have to listen to Coldplay. Max Martin has polluted modern music with a formulaic approach creating teams of writers. It doesn't take 15 people to right a song! They just want a cut from the overpriced pap and it shows a dearth of talent.

  9. I bought the LP, I didn't waste my money. Played it for ten years until I gave away my Dual turntable setup & went for a CD player in my new place. I'm now in a more cramped apartment & wish I could go back to a record player HiFi. This is a song that never gets old.

  10. I bought the Hejira album after listen to it at a friend's house and later on on CD as I no longer had a record player. I have to be in the right mood to listen to it otherwise her voice just annoys me. I actually prefer Coyote & Refuge of the roads.
