  1. It is immoral that the minimum wage for service workers is so low & separate from the minimum wage for all other workers. In UK it is customary to tip for good service to hairdressers, restaurants & taxi drivers. How I reduce or don't tip if a taxi drivers takes a longer route to increase the fare or deliberately slows down to catch a red light. In restaurants where service is included you can say before the meal that you will only pay it if you get good service - if they don't agree then eat somewhere else.

  3. Don't use Chrome & use a different adblock. Brave has a built-in block. Don't use google to search except in maybe 1% of searches & then do that in private mode to stop cookies.

  6. If you have only just found about Duck Duck Go you have been living under a rock! I was using them over 8 years ago & stopped 2 years ago when I found out they were selling data & had switched from filtered Google results to Bing.

  8. Chrome is horrible!Hate the way it displays bookmarks, memory hog & memory leaks. The whole Google "don't be evil" when that is what it is - data mining & tracking. Firefox been my daily driver for many, many years as it is more user friendly & works just the way I want. I sometimes use Brave (better security), Edge (more efficient than chrome & got for pdf's) & Vivaldi
