  2. Social Service are still using analogue systems in a digital world. The whole issue suffers from Balkanisation, too many agencies & "stakeholders" that don't or can't share information with one another, so no one has a complete picture or ensure proper co-ordination. Add to that underfunding, poor training & denigration of social workers within a system that still maintains that parents are the best people to raise a child 100% of the time.

  20.  @David_Bower You are a fool! A large proportion of the defence budget has gone on 2 aircraft carriers with no planes, that keep breaking down. The army is at its lowest level since the Napoleonic wars. The navy has been hollowed out to provide the crew for the carriers & there are not enough frigates & destroyers to protect more than one at a time

  25. Burnham wrong on "right to buy". It either needs to be stopped or doesn't apply until you have been in the property 10 years & max discount reduced. It has inflated house prices & led to the lack of affordable homes for rent.
