  1. When they sell you a Lifetime license but it is the lifetime of a hamster or you buy a "perpetual license" however they drop support after 4 or 5 years. Then you get the "free" upgrades that are only for 1 year.

  2. Sadly my brother is under his wife's thumb & because her brother buys HP they have to buy the same for over 20 years. Who buys a printer/MF that uses an all in one colour cartridge.

Printer manufacturers have done a similar thing in that the printer will not print black text document without a working cyan, yellow or red cartridge - they claim it will damage the printer 🙄 HP is clearly in the wrong, need to be punished and either issue a firmware update to correct the issue or be force to provide a replacement all-in-one that functions properly.

This why I have seen videos saying don't get rid of physical media (DVD +Blu-ray) as an online service can stop access to a film or program because it goes out of business or loses rights to show it ( it moves to another service which you then have to subscribe to) and worst of all a Movie studio decides to stop producing the DVD or Blu-ray for your region.

  6. I have now been forced to turn off my blocker to watch videos here on YT. The problem with ads is I have a small finite amount of disposable income each month; I don't want to keep watching the same ads on repeat for stuff I don't want, need or can't afford!

  7. I cancelled Prime last September after an annual sub @ £75. They caught me with a 1 week trial for 99p & I never cancelled quick enough so they got me for a month at full price. They now want £95 for 1 year before the £2.99 p.m. penalty next February. Why should I have to pay an anual sub to then have to watch crappy ads for 💩 I don't want or need i.e. pet food & expensive holiday etc. I find I can often get stuff cheaper than Amazon on other websites so I use them as a price comparison.
