  266. @DavidDoel Always interested in your videos & comments but have to say you & all the JC fans got this wrong. JC was on the back benches so long as a rebel that when he became leader of the party he didn't know what to do & surrounded himself with "yes men/women". Len Mccluskey, leader of UNITE union was seen as having too much influence over JC and party policy. JC speeches were often about as stimulating as someone reading the phone book. Everyone & everything was to blame for Labours failures in elections apart from the Labour leadership. The hard truth was that under JC's leadership it was proven time and again that he couldn't be an effective Prime Minister as he often got surrogates to do interviews on his behalf. The cult of leadership was strongly linked to the pressure group Momentum of which many were recent members to the Labour party and as "entryists" sought to deselect MP's that did not support their agenda. Thus they were viewed as a party within The Party. This had echoes of Tribune from the late 1980's to mid 1990's that was the root cause of the wilderness years for Labour. JC's supporters were more interested in purging The Party of "Blairites" than fighting the Tories and for many JC was seen as a Brexiteer as he had always been anti EU & so on Like it or not UK General Elections are won from the centre ground. Despite having more than 2 parties most voters cast their ballot for either Labour or Conservative & the outdated FPTP system favours them. Rebecca Long-Bailey was ousted after she refused to take down an inaccurate tweet. JC has also been the architect of his own downfall. See many/most of his statements and he uses the term racist rather than anti-semitic and dragged his feet when tackling the issue in the party. Many cases were not resolved with 12 months yet swift action was not a problem when it came to those who opposed or were perceived to be disloyal. Many voters support a lot of the policies i.e. renationalising the utilities & railways but could see that a Labour government under Corbyn would be a disaster. I await all the vitriol & opprobrium that the JC fans can spew as they can't accept that they were wrong.
