  1. If you buy a child a gun & then allow unrestricted access to that gun & ammunition then you are negligent as a parent. If you walk out of a one hour school meeting after 11 or 12 minutes then you are not taking the subject of the meeting seriously. It will be interesting to see how the trial of the father goes.

  2. This highlights what is wrong in the USA. The judges particularly SCOTUS have taken too much power over laws, their interpretation and thus their enforcement. Meanwhile the executive branch of government has failed to act to resolve glaring errors & loopholes. What is the point of a police force if it acts toward the general public but ignores individuals and their safety when it can intervene and alter the outcome. Imagine the fire department choosing which fires to attend - it is a solitary house we can let it burn down as it won't spread to another property.
