@cormoran2303 Yep. Quick story. In 2011, my soulmate and I were living in FNQ. She was diagnosed with brain cancer. She was flown from the remote town to a major city. Next day she was flown to another city with better cancer facilities. Next day, I was flown on priority from the remote town to the city she'd been flown to. I stayed in the hospital for 2 nights myself, albeit on a couch in the quiet room but they didn't kick me out. When relatives arrived we were accommodated in an apartment at a heavily discounted rate (govt subsidised). After her op we were flown back home. ALL of the treatment and transport was free. I love where I live.

Further, we were also granted more money from welfare (I couldn't work anymore while caring for her) and as a result of that, got free transport back to the city where her family when her health deteriorated. I love where I live.

Buzzfeed? Oh yeah, they're that cutting edge news mob that showed us how Americans hate any food other than Maccas.
