  1. I rent a patch of dirt on one of the last rural zoned blocks in the Mango Hill area of northern brisvegas. I've been here five years and have watched staged development on the Western side of the property. It is exactly as Jordan explained. I didn't realise that was why certain areas were left undeveloped for a year or more, other than the roads, water, sewage, and power lines that were constructed. Trickle-fed development. Sadly, the 20 hectare block I'm on (septic and rain water tanks because we're on the other side of the road from the development) was sold and the new owner has applied for a rezoning to build 62 housing units on the few hectares of usable land. In a few years, the following animals will lose their current bush habitat that I'm also lucky enough to live in: Long nosed Potoroos. Koalas. Wallabies. Pythons. Other snakes. Lace Monitors. And about 10 or more different bird species.
