@TheTravelerHD4K Poor countries? Portugal? Switzerland? Richer per capita, and definitely more developed than the US and many other countries. C'mon mate. Think before you type. Your bias that has been influenced by 'The War On Drugs' propaganda is glaringly obvious. I'm trying to provide some constructive criticisms for your arguments, rather than belittle you. I've spent nigh on 40 years following the politics of drug laws, and researching different approaches to illegal drugs in different countries. Do some research yourself, mate. You may find your opinion changes.

@TheTravelerHD4K Dude, your argument about corporate takeover of criminal organisations leads me to think you are just trolling for attention. Your argument was utterly flawed, and contains already disproven assertions in peer-reviewed studies. Just say it out loud, you don't like drugs. It'll save you writing rubbish statements in the comments.

@joelhall5124 Buddy, any country that has a government-funded health service uses your taxes to pay for it. Whether it be dialysis or drug addiction rehabilitation. It's one of the more noble reasons to pay taxes. One day, you too will need that service, be it for cancer or an injury, or old age health issues.
