  4. ​@Leosarebetter I've lived and worked in FNQ. The only people I've known up there who were complaining about croc populations were southern migrants, and those who want to make money farming wild crocs for skins and to a lesser extent, meat. The current control system is working.

  5. There is a push for having the rowing in Rockhampton, a city on the Tropic of Capricorn, 800-odd kms North of Brisbane. And yes, the Fitzroy River does have resident crocodiles.
