  1. People actually bought 'shares'? Wow... Yeah, nah. I follow disrupt as well and saw the first spruik and just couldn't believe he was serious. Then I looked at the back story. This exercise should be titled 'How Not To Sell A YouTube Channel'. If disrupt dies it will not be on account of fans of the channel but in the way this guy conducted himself. He could have been brutally honest and said, "I need at least half a million to keep this channel going because I bought half of it off my partner. Can you help me keep disrupt alive?""
