  6. One could postulate that our reliance and exposure to electronics may dull our 'compass' awareness. I have noticed in my life that people who have minimal exposure to electronic devices/equipment appear to have a better location awareness than those of us who are constantly exposed to these things.

  8. I was wondering if it could be a UV protectant just before he offered that hypothesis. Many Scorpions have translucent bodies which would benefit from the protection in daylight. I was also wondering if when the light experiment was done, that the scorpions could sense/detect that light on the 'back' of their eyes. Like when you stick a torch in your mouth with your eyes closed and you turn the torch on.
