  1. I was wondering if it could be a UV protectant just before he offered that hypothesis. Many Scorpions have translucent bodies which would benefit from the protection in daylight. I was also wondering if when the light experiment was done, that the scorpions could sense/detect that light on the 'back' of their eyes. Like when you stick a torch in your mouth with your eyes closed and you turn the torch on.
