  1. I was reading the comments. They have reinforced my understanding that we have still have a very unhealthy racist ideology amongst white Australians. I'm ashamed of my history. But I won't hide behind the "If it wasn't for us white people, you'd all be still using rocks for tools" trope to hide that shame. A majority of white Australians cover their ears when being told about the real history of Australian Aboriginals, because it conflicts with propaganda they were taught as children.
