  4. In respect to 'Swing-Wing' jets, Australia had a 37-year (1973-2010) love affair with the GD F-111C, known here as the 'Pig'. It was capable of Mach 2.5 Not too shabby for an aircraft developed in the 60s.

  5. I saw the title of this and I immediately thought, "This was as stupid an idea as China's current plans to build floating Nuclear power plants.

  7.  Bhum Brahmavira  I still think floating Nuke plants have risks (as do the militarized Nuke plants). Nobody wants a meltdown in the ocean, let alone in the South China Sea. But then, I'm pretty much anti-nuke power all-round. We have better options with lower risk factors in my humble opinion. If I were a pragmatist I'd probably sway toward Nuclear Power more. But I've seen what happens when mistakes are made. I'm old enough to remember 3 Mile Island and young enough to have watched Fukushima. It's bad juju.

  8. This is a great bit of history. I never knew the Zero was that thin-skinned or aerodynamically paralyzed at high speed. All we were taught was that they were nimble and deadly in a dogfight.

I subscribe to a number of channels that have deals with the company, but I've always skipped them because they didn't grab my attention. Your intro to the Skillshare promo hooked me because I'm like you in terms of learning by doing, Disclaimer: I learn a lot through selected YouTube subscriptions (but I am now considering a Skillshare sub).
