  2. I saw the title of this and I immediately thought, "This was as stupid an idea as China's current plans to build floating Nuclear power plants.

  3.  Bhum Brahmavira  I didn't consider that. And the power plants running around beneath the surface, with a bunch of missiles attached.

  4.  Bhum Brahmavira  I still think floating Nuke plants have risks (as do the militarized Nuke plants). Nobody wants a meltdown in the ocean, let alone in the South China Sea. But then, I'm pretty much anti-nuke power all-round. We have better options with lower risk factors in my humble opinion. If I were a pragmatist I'd probably sway toward Nuclear Power more. But I've seen what happens when mistakes are made. I'm old enough to remember 3 Mile Island and young enough to have watched Fukushima. It's bad juju.
