Love your music, mate. And your mini docos.

That was a seriously under-ripe Rockmelon (Cantaloupe). I worked a on a large Rockmelon farm in Australia in the late 80s. When they're ripened properly, they are beautiful melons. Really, really sweet, and slightly soft in the mouth.

I remember this. And I remember how in Australia, almost overnight, the regulations for drug and food packaging were changed.

You might be interested in the January, 1977 Granville rail disaster in Australia. Eighty-five dead, and another train tragedy involving speed and a road bridge collapse.

I'm Australian, but I followed this event from the start.

A similar incident happened at a place called Rungoo, in Queensland Australia in November 2008. However, it occurred on a highway crossing. The rail-line and the highway met at an angle and at the end of a long bend of the highway. Due to the forested country, trains, and the signal lights were not visible until you were almost upon the crossing. On this particular afternoon, a B-double was struck by a train, killing the two train drivers and injuring many on the train. The truck driver survived. As a result of this crash, the highway was realigned with an overpass to prevent any more tragedies.

Not explosion related but you may be interested in researching a town called Wittenoom in Western Australia. A Blue Asbestos mining town that became so toxic, the town was shut down and removed from maps.

I'm a year late but I feel this was a case of propaganda over safety. One would have hoped that these pilots knew the differences but I doubt they did. I think this was more a case of the powers that be demanding a good show for their audience and potential clients. I could be wrong but hey...

Sunny in a pach of Queensland Australia too!

I'm sure I was subscribed before now but saw I wasn't. I am now. This is the best coverage of this coverup I've ever seen or read. Oh, and I'll be checking out your music. You might like to check out the Sydney, Australia Opal Tower story. Or the Grenfell Tower fire in London, England. They're not aircraft related but are both in the context of faulty design and materials.

There was a town in Australia that was completely evacuated and shut down because of the asbestos mine nearby. Wittenoom. The town became so toxic that it was removed from maps to prevent the curious from visiting the place.

I live in Australia and in 1983 I had a serious car crash requiring transfusions and many operations. Some years later (I think it was around 1988 or so)the health department recommended that all people who had received blood tranfusions should get tested for HIV. I tested negative. However, there were a lot of nervous people around waiting to get tested.

Oh, hey, I'm glad it's dry and not wet and windy for a change!

Without further ado, not adieu. Of course, I may have misheard your accent.
