  1. A similar incident happened at a place called Rungoo, in Queensland Australia in November 2008. However, it occurred on a highway crossing. The rail-line and the highway met at an angle and at the end of a long bend of the highway. Due to the forested country, trains, and the signal lights were not visible until you were almost upon the crossing. On this particular afternoon, a B-double was struck by a train, killing the two train drivers and injuring many on the train. The truck driver survived. As a result of this crash, the highway was realigned with an overpass to prevent any more tragedies.
