Hey mate. I live a bit North of Brisbane in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. I live in a rooftop tent on a mate's property, so I'm keeping a close watch on this. I'll probably pull the tent down tomorrow morning. I feel sad for my daughter though. She came down for the Greenday concert on the Gold Coast, but it's been cancelled, and now they're stuck there, waiting for the cyclone to hit. The south side of cyclones carry the most damaging weather, so we may dodge the bullet if it doesn't push north.

@mandoleenebando429 Yep. It'll be wild. I've been through a few when I lived up north, so I'm hypervigilant when following the track. They are really unpredictable beasts. You stay safe too, mate.

@lisc7204 I'll be okay. If it gets gnarly, I'll be packing the tent down and sleeping inside. I've been through a few when I lived up north, so I know how unpredictable and destructive they are. I am definitely not underestimating the potential danger.

@heatherwardell2501 True. It pays to err on the side of caution with a cyclone. They are so erratic.
