  1. I'm happy you found this. I knew you would. This car is tiny. I had no idea how small it was until I saw the driver in it with the door open. I WANT ONE NOW! I'd have to double-check, but I think this thing generates 2000kg (4400lbs) of downforce at start-up and standing still. That increases to 2250kg as it accelerates. Oh, they are planning on releasing a road-legal version. However, the designers and builders say this car is meant for racing, and the road car will have a 'street' setting that will need to be activated before driving on the road. I think that's the basic gist anyway. I'd have to reread the articles online that I fell into when I first saw this car. It is AMAZING! I have to wonder how this thing would go in the wet. It generates downforce using basically the same tech as a vacuum cleaner, so I think it would suck water off the surface of the road and into the fan, as it does with dust and dirt on the road. I did notice that they didn't (not that I saw) run it in the wet weather at Goodwood.
