  2. I knew an alcoholic, habitual drink driver back in the 90s. He lived way out of town, would get pissed, run out of grog and drive the 30km down the highway to town. He had been convicted many times and had been prohibited from driving permanently...forever. He managed to stay out of jail for a few years but eventually got busted again and was put in jail for a few years to think about his past.
