Yep, when you've got basically three feet of grip (a metre for you young folk) at the back end of your rear-wheel drive car, it's going to grip well. It's cases like that that you need to modify your suspension and frame to handle the extra grip. It's a balancing act and when you get it right, you're set.

Next, the one you were asking about, is a Ford Anglia, the white one is a Ford Escort, and the lead car on the right is a (trumpet blasts because...Chrysler) Valiant Charger.
