  1. I spent all of my high school years and a few after that, living in this area. The chook shed collection was spoken about in whispers amongst us tappet heads. Some claimed to have seen them. Some claimed to know the person who owned them. It took years before the myth was found to be true blue. I also knew a bloke from Bald Hills who had every car he or his father had owned lined up in the backyard, from Model A and T's to a 58 Plymouth hardtop, through to HR Holdens and others. More than a dozen cars and a couple of ancient motorcycles. I dunno what happened to all those cars.
