Rain on a tin roof, mate. A beautiful sound. These two are about 2.5 metres, maybe 7 feet? And thanks buddy. I thought people would like this. The one at the bottom that looked at me I think is the male that claims this territory, and the female. I feel so privileged to have watched and recorded this for over 40 minutes.

6:50 Well, for me this is a daily thing. Not the show these guys performed, but the girl and the boy are always here. And the rain on the roof and the bird's sounds from out the back are very calming. Plus the birds, and my new friend, an Alexandrian Parrot that ran away from home and decided it likes it here. If I was religious, I'd say I'm blessed. But no, I just like animals.

At 7:25 you just missed where one of the pythons had a bite at the other one. That's why they did that big slap. They only bit at each other twice in the 40 minutes. Otherwise, they were trying to out climb or squeeze each other. It was pretty trippy.

@TheReptileBloke Hey buddy. Specifically Mango Hill on the North side of Brisbane. Feel free to share mate. I'm glad people like it. Full 40-minutes will be up once I've edited it all together.

@NebraskaGonvilleJones Haha. Nah, mate. They were so intent on this fight they didn't care. But, I reckon if it was a pair of Browns I'd still do the same. It was just fascinating to watch. I'm just glad I could share it with people.

@axle.australian.patriot Thanks, mate. Yeah, pretty lucky to witness this.

Drummer Boy. No, buddy. Two males. One came into the domain of the other. There is a pair (the female is much bigger) that live in and around the shed and another male came in and tried to move in on old mate's territory. Pretty sure this fight started in the rafters and they fell down onto my toolbox. I'll post the full video some time.

@axle.australian.patriot I'd love to see that IRL. I've seen a croc in the 'surf' up near Cooktown, and mates who fish out on the reef have told me about crocs laying on the sand near a coral island 10km offshore. I like sea snakes. They move so smoothly.

@tropicsalt. True mate. But I'll need to move on soon. I'll miss my wild friends but hey, progress deems this last bit of rural land here will be subdivided into 62 housing units. I don't own it so I have no say in its future :(
2
@petethebastard Nah, mate. Fighting. Two males competing over the big female that's lived here for years.
2
@rasmuswi True. I often wonder why people would camp in bear country or in Puma country. As you say, it's what you're used to. I've camped and lived near rivers full of crocodiles. The thing about crocs is they are often not seen. I've had to warn German tourists in a campervan not be swimming at the boat ramp near my old home. Yes, they were bathing at a boat ramp in a river that has at least 5 crocs over 3-metres and more smaller ones, and crocs were regularly seen around the ramp.

@IMissMyScrotum Yep. One of these males has lived in and around this shed with a 3-metre female for 4 years that I'm aware. This new lad came in yesterday and tried his luck. At the end, the interloper retreated with the victor riding its back like a jockey! I'll post the full edit as soon as possible.
2
@fugawiaus Hehehe! I didn't ask them how they identify. They were a little preoccupied so I just assumed with this testosterone-infused performance that they would like to be called men.
2
@geoffwrigley1494 Given the way the victor rode the loser like a jockey at the end (video coming), one might wonder if Brokeback Mountain wasn't in their Netflix favourites.

@julzhunt7790 It was pretty special. I'm still sorting out the entire 40 minute fight video. My editing skills are minimal LOL

@bestfit Thanks mate. And thanks for subscribing. Not much to see on the channel but it's more a life blog when I feel like posting. I'll probably trim a lot of the 40 minutes down tho. But they do fight the entire time.
1
@bestfit She's a big, pretty girl. Shot a quick clip today with both the male and female in the rafters together.
1
@bestfit That's a long battle!
1
@bestfit I haven't seen them mating yet. But the pair are more often than not coiled together during the day in the rafters or somewhere secluded. I was hoping to see some younger ones from previous breedings. I think I did one day way down the paddock. It was a good metre long.

Hahaha! Peter, that was funny! I can relate to that LOL

Geoff. Nah mate. Two males fighting for territory and dominance. The female is up in the roof rafters.
