On another note, I knew a truckie who picked up fish from Kuranda years ago, and when he'd back the trailer down the ramp to load directly from the boats, sometimes he'd have to hang the last two axles of the trailer over the edge of the ramp to reach the boat due to the tide. He was also a master of driving one of those rigs over that slippery red dirt around Normanton.
