  2. If I was relatively rich, I'd buy one of these ink blocks and keep it in a box. When friends came over, I'd make it a conversation piece by explaining how the block was made. It's just so intricate. Great for talking about when you're stoned as a dead goanna.

  3. There are some negative comments about this business. I understand, and I assume the producers do too, that this business isn't the answer to waste recycling. However, it is one small part of the future of waste. We can't keep dumping the stuff we think is useless. I was making coffee tables and bedside tables from waste pallets in the 90s. I was also buying cheap (soon to be) antique radiograms and other items and would do some basic restoration and resell them. No, I didn't make much of an impact either. But, as with this business in the video, I did something. Oh, and as one person commented re 'virtue signaling' for the rich? Well, fine. Some waste gets repurposed and reused, the rich buyers get to look trendy and 'woke', a few people make some dollars from it, and it may even inspire more cottage recycling/repurposing industries. I reckon that's a win all 'round. It won't be too far away in time when it will become mandatory to reuse, repurpose, or refurbish waste as a necessity for maintaining a liveable planet. Eventually, the 'throwaway society' that drives our economy will collapse.

  5. In my experience, the biggest issue with respect to houseplants and other nursery bought plants is the cheap plastic pot. It's scary to think how many end up in landfill or get left in stacks in back yards. Many folk will buy a plant in a cheap pot, buy a pretty pot to suit their decor and then repot it (or not) into the new pot. The pot the plant grew up in is now rubbish.

I did not disparage what this company is doing in any way. How did you come to the conclusion that I have something against homeless people?

  12. If I still had all the Lego I had been given or bought from the late 60s through to the 90s, I might be a rich man...same as the collector cards, stamps, coins etc. I had about 10 boxes of early Magic cards unopened...I threw them out in the early 2000s.
