  2. I just bought a 2HP, 24 litre (6 gallon?) direct drive compressor to mount on my ute. It'll be hooked up to an inverter and will run off the solar/battery setup. Great for tyres, and using it as a blower for cleaning dust out of hard-to-get-at places. Might even be good enough to spray some paint or rust-proofing at a pinch.
