20-something years ago, I was a volunteer assistant working on an ad blocker that prevented them from loading. We were early internet guerillas

I watched the original and found it to be an example of very good investigative journalism. This follow-up is quite brilliant. Especially your final comments about '...if Apple started treating their customers properly..." Great stuff. Oh, I am not an Apple person. I worked in a university environment many years ago and had to know Macs and PCs (I was an IT admin type person), and I lived in a household for a while that were all Mac/iPhone users...and I became the deFacto troubleshooter. But other than that, my knowledge is minimal at best. However, based on my experience with Apple, I wouldn't want to do business with them as a customer.

Thankyou, Louis. You brought attention to this attack on a small youtuber.

Update Mon 12 May. He has taken his site down due to ddos etc. Good. He deserves to be shut down. His actions here in Australia will get his business shut down anyway.

I used to be happy watching a couple of ads at the beginning of a video. However, when it got to a point where a 10-minute video had an ad break, I installed a blocker. It was that or stop watching YouTube.

Oh the gods! I'm Australian and I'm soooo triggered! DCS are so butthurt about having their shit batteries exposed. I'm laughing so hard. I feel sorry for DCS employees, but I hope the owners of DCS end up having to find jobs.

I think I bought something through Amazon once. Maybe not, though. I've always considered buying from sites such as Amazon, Wish, Temu, etc, a game of roulette. You may get the odd win, but most times, you lose.

HEMA maps and their ongoing lack of support for people who paid 700+ dollars for their navigation unit. They had an argument with their server provider last year. Since then, users' units have either bricked themselves trying to update, or have failed to update via their 'workaround'. They now want to charge $90 to update the unit if you send it to them, or you have to personally take the unit to their headquarters to get updated. ZERO communication with their customers.
