You know imagining 6 or 7 trillion dollars is to comprehend? There's an Aussie YouTuber who used a large mason jar full of coloured water, a syringe, a shot cup and a coffee to graphically show how little a dent in the US deficit the cuts will actually make. I think it is The West Report (edit: ABC Are You Listening?)

The first time I was exposed to real chemistry was when I was about 7-years-old. One of my school friends had one of those old-school chemistry sets that were sold as kids toys. His parent built him a 'laboratory' just outside the house. Any way, he showed me how to make a bomb by mixing, if memory serves correct, Condy's Crystals (Potassium Permagernate?) and sulphuric acid with something else. It was impressive enough to make me love and fear chemistry.

But @Thunderf00t, it worked on Discovery channel, and it worked on many commercial TV networks. Johnny even got 'me' to watch his video! Kaching! Jackpot! I'm open to UFO/UAP phenomena as much as I'm open to the existence of Yowies. But please, give me clear, unfaked images. It's 2023. Almost every human on the planet has a recording device in their hand. Also, the tech in the average amateur photographer's kit is capable of recording/capturing clear video or images (like my P1000) from a distance. Given that the odds of someone in a position to reliably capture proof of UAPs (okay, ALIENS) is quite high nowadays, it seems strange that if "UFOs are everywhere", we're not seeing clear footage all over TikTok and YouTube. Imagine the views and ad revenue when your genuine Yowie or ET video went viral! Johnny's just cashing in while he can using an age-old technique. Think 'Shark Week'.

24:55 I was just about to have a mouthful of beer and you threw in that Father Ted clip...good thing I didn't. I would have spat it across the room like Father jack drinking water! Pure Gold!

20:25 Go on, someone tell me that 'some' air force pilots in charge of insane machinery in a tense environment don't use some form of chemical stimulant. I read an article years ago that described how 747 pilots made around 120 eye movements a minute when flying. That is, looking at gauges, controls, and their environment, on average. An alert car driver does about 60. Now, imagine piloting an aircraft like an F-16 or similar. How does one maintain spatial awareness, and aircraft control in one of those without some assistance besides the HUDs and computers? I'm rambling but hey, these pilots see a lot more weird shit than commercial pilots do according to Johnny's expose (sorry can't accent the e). And there are a lot more commercial jets in the air at one time than any military force could muster.

@georgebangerter6777 Awesome. Thank you for correcting my mistake. I'll edit the comment.

Sitting by myself, ready to pop off to bed, and watched this. I laughed out loud for the first time today :) Thank you.

Love your work, TF. I'd consider these failures funny as PUK, but a lot of people who put some faith in the snake oil lost a shitload of money. I feel sorry for them because they fell for the hype. But I laugh at them because, really, if this tech could have been viable, it would have replaced rail at least 50 years ago.

Heads up, kids. If a company 'claims' something, step back and put on your Skeptic Hat.

33:45 This is the first video I've seen of you showing your face (as Ozzyman would say). I thought you'd have a beard. I must say though, your hairline is as cool as mine LOL.

I think he honestly believes himself.

Another brilliant exposure of Electric Jesus by our favourite Musk debunker, Thunderfoot .

I'm an old fart by Internet standards and it appears to me that the people on the Interwebs that have falsely influential channels, and those starting new tech companies are in their 20s and 30s. It seems to me that many of these people don't realise there is history prior to Web 2, and with just a little bit of real research, they'd realise that in many cases, they think they've discovered something new, but they are flogging a dead horse that was impractical when first researched, and is still impractical today.
1
Did he go to Santos' school for nutjobs?
1
Really? What exactly are you debunking? It was a test on a test track with a bit of media pizzazz. How hard is that to comprehend? Mate, you must be super desperate for content.

Didn't Elon have to buy Twitter, lest HE get sued for the purchase price he promised? This makes me happy.

Thunderbird 2 was always my favourite. Oh, and Penolope's Pink car.

Nice work, buddy.

One day, the Electric Jesus devotees will realise that Elon has been taking the piss out of them for years...But then, maybe not. The cult of MAGA still hasn't realised that the Trumpster has been doing the same to them forever.

I saw this thing on a Kickstarter or somewhere, then I saw the price and said, no thanks. My Nikon P1000 will do me for my astronomy interests. I'm glad I found your review of this unit as it confirmed my suspicions.

32:40 How cool is it that UFOs have jerry-rigged some flashing lights on their UFO with Gaffer tape and fencing wire to mimic commercial aircraft. They're pretty clever them ETs.
1
4:20 (an appropriate timestamp) "Elon's gunna do that..." That's a standard Psalm from the Church of Electric Jesus devotees, isn't it?

I used to watch 'undecided...' but I realised that there wasn't much research beyond reading the promotional blurb and doing a basic Google search. I can do that myself to make a decision. I have an Internet-connected computer just like 'Undecided...'
1
@TheRadiastral Yep. I should have spell checked.

You don't need LSD when you discover Metallic Water.

2:00 I came into the Interweb in the latish 90s. It was on the cusp of 'free and open', and 'we can make money with this tech'. The rise of viruses, commercialism, and scammers. I held onto the 'free and open' ethos for years and eschewed the highly commercial towns in the web. It was also the time of the birth of voice recognition commercially, and 'AI' as an achievable reality.

16:52 That could be one weather balloon. They are elongated as they rise through the atmosphere, and from that angle and distance would look like an upside-down triangle. To suggest a fleeting glimpse of something shiny and 'triangular' is aliens is too funny.

00:25 Back in the 70s, you could buy aerosol cans of bullshit repellent. If someone was bullshitting you, you could could whip out your can and spray the air between you and the bullshitter.
