When you go from being in a marginal society with FA opportunities, and you manage to be in the right place at the right time, doing what you do, and become filthy rich, you eventually become part of that 'rich' society, and forget where you came from. Your alliances change. Your ideologies change. You become a different person.

@mr.o6240 You still are missing the point. It's not about 'capitalist society'. It's the way suddenly getting rich and falling into that society changes your perceived values. Yes, we mostly live in a capitalist society, That's obvious. I'm talking about how money on tap changes a person.
