  1. 24:00 Shark, or as it was known in fish and chip shops in Australia for decades past, Flake, has a unique flavour when caught and cooked fresh. I liken it to the difference between farmed chicken and wild fowl. Shark, compared to the usual white fleshed sea fish, is more gamey, for me at least. I like the flavour.

  4. 8pm, Saturday night, Queensland Sunshine Coast hinterland. I know this episode is going to be a hard watch. I like sharks. Disclaimer: In a former life I speared small sharks for food. So I'm not shocked by the butchering. It's that I am older now and understand the ecological importance of sharks.
