As an Asian, I find what your saying to be rather stereotypical of Orientalist ideas of how Eastern philosophy is supposed to be. As human beings, we should all desire liberty and self-autonomy. What is the desire for salvation but a metaphysical expression of that! The demand to be left alone is a human desire, which can be expressed in swaraaj (self-rule) from the Dharmic philosophy of South Asia and ideas such as Taoism in East Asia.

The imbecilic bleating of some sheeple in the comments justifying the tyranny of the scamdemic is a testimony to the power of propaganda by the media-government complex. Wake up, already! It’s time to have some bitter coffee and accept that you’ve been had. Your freedom to associate in meaningful connections with other human beings is far more important than any boogeyman they dangle in front of you.

Saiyad Nizammuddin Ahmad is doing a series of videos on Rene Guenon's "The Reign of Quantity" (1945); I highly recommend it, as it is inextricably linked with modernity and civilizational collapse, the very subject of this video.

They deleted some of my comments too, and I’ve noticed that the Google Corporation takes away likes. Essentially, they are doing us to isolate us. They want us to feel lonely and worthless so that they can destroy our will to resist against these thugs.

By "religion," the content creator probably meant spirituality. The quotes he used did not suggest that he was a promoter of fundamentalism, but a rather a genuine, individual attempt to explore how there are realities bigger than ourselves, whether you want to call that God, Allah, Bhagwaan, or otherwise.
