  10. Except people have opened themselves up to Christ, have done everything that he supposedly asked, and have been completely abandoned; dealt a horribly bad hand in life. Supposedly God has the power to change a person's life, but he would rather watch them struggle and then casts them into hellfire when they feel alone and turn away from him. If this is truly God and Christ, they are monsters.

  11. Mark Nightowl How do I know they submitted to him? Simple, I was speaking from personal experience. How do I know he sent them to hell? Simple. I don't. But the bible says they are in hell, and I thought that was the word of God. I was speaking in terms of ifs. Not absolutes.

Told me who I could and couldn't be friends with. Being able to make my own decisions and life choices and live my life as I see fit without bringing unjust harm to others is what I believe a loving God would want. if he is real, and he does love me, he'll love me no matter if I believe in him or not, because I'm a good person. If he doesn't, and damns me to hell for it, then he is a tyrannical monster who was not deserving of the time I dedicated to him

  14. Mark Nightowl If God is truly a loving Father, then there is no hell. He would cast no one there, whether they believed in him or not. Christians, or any religious people, don't KNOW anything. They BELIEVE. To claim to know something they can't prove is why a lot of people turn them away. If God is really and loving, caring father, then everyone goes to heaven, because no benevolent being would cast his children into a lake of fire to burn for eternity, regardless of sin. That's a tyrant who punishes you when you do something that goes against him, even if it doesn't harm anyone else. The God of the Bible is a monsterous dictator who commands war and genocide and punishes you after death if you don't obey. He's no better than ISIS.

There's a verse from God commanding you to stone people who don't believe the way you do. Do you celebrate Christmas? That's a pagan holiday.

At that time Menahem, starting out from Tirzah, attacked Tiphsah and everyone in the city and its vicinity, because they refused to open their gates. He sacked Tiphsah and ripped open all the pregnant women. (2 Kings 15:16) God commands the killing of infants and nursing babies. Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.
