Funny how that bullshit falls apart when none of them opposed the federal reserve and Strauss was an avid open supporter of it.

@theseustoo Anyone who thinks the ship is the Olympic is an idiot. The point is it has been laid to rest. Simply look at pictures of the two ships and the pictures of the wreck. Olympic and Titanic didn't look the same. The differences are obvious.

We still on this bullshit switch consipracy?

Anyone who still believes the switch theory is silly.

This disaster changed the course of maritime history and law. That's why she's remembered. James Cameron also didn't help that.

@dylanclay2741 Or maybe we're just smart enough to understand that the ships could not have been mistaken for each other?

Bullshit.

@Superbustr irst off, the Olympic collision with the HMS Hawke was by no means "unseaworthy." It was a minor collision that took all of $125,000 to fix, and was back in service by the time Titanic was launched. Secondly, White Star Line at this time was in literally no danger of bankruptcy. And both the Olympic and Titanic were under insured. No one was put away because the disaster was an accident, not a result of negligence or corruption. This point makes little sense. The Californian was a small steam ship a sixth the size of the Titanic. It had enough room for 150 people. Who thought it would be possible for her to carry 2200? The coal fire was out long before she left port, the list was not an issue, and she had 4 more boats than legally required at the time. The previous commenter is right. You have 0 idea what you're talking about.

@digitaal_boog From my reasearch, both ships were under insured.

Kinda failed considering the 3 men you are referring too did not oppose the federal reserve and one of them was a huge open supporter of it.
