  2. Can we stop using that word? It's going to lose meaning. No. He's a man who, allegedly slept with a woman 2 months shy of 18. Predatory? Absolutely. Pedophilia? No. 17 is not a prepubescent child.

  3. ​ @LaterHarmony Not defending anyone here but there is no magical transformation at 18 that suddenly makes you different. And Tana, if this story is true, was 2 months shy of 18. That's predatory for sure, but she was not a "child".

  4.  @LaterHarmony  No that's not what I'm saying. I'm a believer that sex should be an adult activity. And I agree that you should be conservative about who you date (even though my partner and I didn't follow this. I was 16 and he was almost 20 when we got together.) I just don't want terms to lose their meaning so that we become even more desensitized to them.
